Applications with demonstrable community support and a federal nexus will only be considered. Evidence of support can take many forms, including but not limited to, letters from local stakeholders or elected officials, a commitment of funding from state or local government, op-eds, online petitions, etc.

Please make sure to designate the proper subcommittee for your request.

For more information on project eligibility, we also encourage you look at the project proposals we previously submitted here.

Please email questions or concerns to NY15Appropriations@mail.house.gov.

(NOTE: A Member of Congress may only submit 20 Community Project Funding requests to the Appropriations Committee this year. In the past, previously funded projects have typically ranged between $100K-$5M. This category of funding is extremely competitive.)
