Our District

I am honored to serve the residents of New York’s 15th Congressional District located in the Bronx, the essential borough.

New York’s 15th District is home to nearly 740,000 residents who come from all over the world. Stretching across the North and South of the Bronx in New York City, our district is home to the neighborhoods of Allerton, Bathgate, Baychester, Belmont, Claremont, Fordham, Melrose, Morrisania, Morris Park, Mott Haven, Riverdale, Spuyten Duyvil, Tremont, Olinville, Norwood, Highbridge , Van Nest, West Farms, Williamsbridge and Woodlawn.

Our district is home to a diverse workforce including New York City’s essential workers and their families. We are New York’s smallest district geographically, but we are densely populated with strong, hard-working residents, unique local businesses, and a flourishing culture. Considered the most diverse area in the country by the Census Bureau, our community in the Bronx is known for embracing its many different cultural backgrounds. The 15th District has a rich history of music and the arts, including as the birthplace of hip-hop. Among the district’s many world-famous attractions are Yankee Stadium, the Bronx Zoo, the NY Botanical Garden, and Arthur Ave-Little Italy.
