In Aftermath of Reporting that NSA Waltz Had At Least 20 Signal Chats, Rep. Ritchie Torres Introduces Legislation Aimed at Curbing Use of Classified Info on Unsecure Apps
Congressman Ritchie Torres (NY-15) has now officially introduced the ‘Homeland Operations and Unilateral Tactics Halting Incursions: Preventing Coordinated Subversion, Military Aggression and Lawless Levies Granting Rogue Operatives Unchecked Power’ Act, also known as the HOUTHI PC SMALL GROUP Act into the U.S. House. The legislation, first reported on in Axios last month, would “amend title 18, United States Code, to prohibit the communication of classified information on mobile or desktop messaging applications.”
